Los Cabos 2018: Moving Up List of Best Destinations on Planet

It can't be said often enough: You have to experience a Cabo vacation. Yes, we know, it's only natural for us to tout this destination as an ideal spot to get some well-deserved R&R, but you also have to consider the fact that the editors of Travel + Leisure just named Los Cabos as one of the 50th best places to travel in 2018. Tempting, right?
Here are some of the things you can experience if you decide to drop by:
The Edge of the Ocean
Seaside fun under the sun. The dry desert air meets the fresh sea breeze to bathe the Baja California Peninsula in near-perfect weather during most of the year, and with over 100 miles of coastline between Todos Santos and Cabo Pulmo, you'll have your choice of sandy strips of land to choose from.
In fact, six of Mexico's 11 Blue Flag beaches are located in the Los Cabos area. What's a Blue Flag beach, you say? Only the highest certification provided by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), guaranteeing top standards in terms of water quality, safety, environmental culture and general services. So slather some sunscreen on and catch some rays over here, it sure beats that lame tanning booth at your local mall.
Exclusivity and Activities
Luxury vacations just got a whole lot better. That's because Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos just opened shop, and this luxury, adult-only all-inclusive resort is widely considered the new "must stay" spot in the Baja Peninsula. Where do we begin describing this unique experience? A fishing and golfing mecca. The two most popular activities in Los Cabos have plenty of reasons for you to schedule a vacation. Artist feel right at home here. There's plenty of room to cultivate your sensitive, artistic side in the region. Get your groove on at the annual San Jose Jazz Weekend (February 16-17), catch some movies at the Todos Santos Film Festival (March) or at the Los Cabos International Film Festival (November), where a lot of Academy Award contenders hold their Latin American premieres. And if you visit us between November and June, don't forget that Thursday evenings belong to the San Jose del Cabo Art Walk, a leisurely stroll through the budding art district's unique galleries, open-air exhibitions and alluring nightlife.
